We started Dos Leches because we needed something different.

Dos Leches began with a simple craving: we wanted a space where real belonging could happen. Not just another party, not just another club. Somewhere you could show up exactly as you are, move however you want, and find friends you didn’t even know you’d been waiting for.

We saw how rare it was: true community you could feel in your chest. So we built it from the ground up. Grass-roots, authentic, alive.

This isn’t about hype or trends, and it never will be. We’re here to protect the vibe. To honor the sunset, the music, the freedom to be yourself, surrounded by a crowd that gets it.

The Feeling

Dos Leches is a feeling. It’s the warmth of the sun on your skin, a rhythm you can’t help but move to, and the shared laughter of new friends on the grass. It’s what happens when you turn a regular city park into the city’s heart for a day.

Summer 2024. A handful of friends, a portable speaker, and the sense that something was missing.

Our first pop-up at Rotary Park was small, but the energy was unmistakable. Something special was starting.

All it took was word of mouth, and suddenly it wasn’t just us: it was hundreds of people, all gathering to picnic, dance, and cheer on the sunset.

We realized then that we were all craving something different: a free, relaxed, wholesome way to turn public space into real community, where anyone could show up as themselves and belong.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to enrich Calgary's cultural fabric by creating positive, inclusive, and memorable experiences. We are guided by a few core beliefs:

We exist to foster genuine connection. We create a safe, family-friendly atmosphere where kids can dance, grandparents can relax, and new friendships can form.
