Refund and Returns Policy

Effective August 15, 2026

Short version: our merch is made to order, so we can't take returns for change of mind or for a size you decided against. If something arrives damaged, defective, or isn't what you ordered, we'll make it right.

Made to order

Every Dos Leches item is printed and shipped by a third-party fulfillment partner after you place your order. Nothing sits in a warehouse waiting to be restocked, so a returned item can't go back on a shelf. That's why this policy is narrower than a typical retail store's.

What we replace or refund

Contact us within 30 days of delivery if your order:

  • arrived damaged
  • has a printing or manufacturing defect
  • is the wrong item, size, or colour compared to your order confirmation
  • never arrived, and tracking does not show it as delivered

Email info@dosleches.ca with your order number and clear photos of the item and the shipping label. We will send a replacement at no cost or refund you, whichever you prefer and whichever we are able to do.

What we can't take back

  • The correct item in a size you decided you didn't want. Check the measurements before ordering, and email us if you're unsure.
  • Change of mind.
  • Normal wear, or damage caused by washing against the care instructions.
  • Anything reported more than 30 days after delivery.
  • Packages the carrier marked as delivered that went missing afterward. Ask the carrier to open a claim, and email us anyway so we can help where we can.
  • Orders sent to an address entered incorrectly at checkout. If the package comes back to us, you cover the cost of reshipping.

Refunds

Approved refunds go back to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days of approval. How quickly it shows up is up to your bank. Original shipping is refunded only when the fault is ours.

Cancelling an order

Email us right away. Production usually starts within 24 hours of ordering, and once it starts we can't cancel.

Events

Our events are free. There is nothing to refund. If an event is cancelled, moved, or rescheduled, we post it on dosleches.ca and on Instagram at @dos.leche5.
